Welcome to Brothers Rugby League Club
Juniors Games on 26th April - Brothers V Valleys @ Brothers - click here

On behalf of both the Brothers Senior and Junior Rugby League Clubs in Toowoomba, we would like to extend our condolences to the Price family for the sudden passing of their son James. James was the coach of our Reserve Grade at the Seniors in season 2014 and played all of his footy at the club since Juniors. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time.  All seniors players are requested to wear their Brothers Club Shirts to the funeral, so that they can form a guard of honour for our fallen mate, as he leaves the church. All players are requested to attend a 'special' get together at the Glenholme Home grounds, prior to training this Wednesday 23rd April, 2014, starting at
6-00pm. Please help celebrate James' life on Monday 28th April at 11am at St Pat's Cathederal, James St, Toowoomba

BROTHERS V HIGHFIELDS

2.30PM           A GRADE

This weekend see the first home game for the Leprechauns at Glenholme for season 2014. Brothers take on Dalby , which promises to be an exciting clash across all of the grades. Our season kicked off in Warwick last weekend with the 18's pulling off a hard fought win 26-10 against the highly fancied cowboys, Reserve grade settling for a draw 24-24 after a tight contest in the 2nd half and our A Grade squad challenging Warwick all the way in their 38-22 loss....  Coach McEwan was extremely happy with the performance across all grades given the limited preparation and pre-season. 2014 is a season of rebuilding at the club and over the next few seasons as our young Leprechauns become more experienced and our strong Juniors move across, the foundation will be set for the new 'Brothers Dynasty . A huge congratulations to our A Grade & Club Caption Mitch Betros, who led the boys with distinction on the weekend, becoming one of the club's youngest captains since 1919 at the age of 19 !!!

This Sunday we take on Dalby, one of the pre-season favourites for the competition, at Glenholme Park. WE are also hosting the Toowoomba Schoolboys in the U 11 & U 12 age groups, who will be playing Ipswich. A huge congratulations to Larry Lee who works tirelessly for school boy Rugby League in Toowoomba and district, without his leadership and inspiration would not happen..

Seniors 2014 sponsor Dion Harris and his team at "TREE WORK" have started to clear the overgrown vegetation at the Seniors grounds..
I have received numerous comments already from people driving past the grounds along Boundary Road, that they can now actually see the Clubhouse, that has been hidden for many years.  Dion and his "Tree Work" Team will be continuing the 'clean up' over the next few months, and the improvement and importantly people safety will be awesome.  Part of the changes and upgrades underway at the Seniors in 2014

If you need some tree clearing done (big or small) , call Dion on 0412 793 094 or visit his website for more information.  Support these businesses that support your Club
